Yes. Within seconds of receiving your enquiry, our clever tech confirms which suppliers can meet your order requirements. We’ll always suggest the closest available supplier at the best price.

We know it’s super time-consuming to compare prices and terms from a handful of suppliers, so we do the legwork for you. Standardised quotes will be in your inbox within minutes of submitting your enquiry.

“1st Day” is the rate for the first 24 hours.

”Week” is the rate for a period of 7 days.

“Extra Day” refers to additional 24 hour periods after the first day or week.

The “Extra Day” rates will only apply up to the maximum rate for a week.

Here is an example based on 1st Day: £60, Extra Day: £20 and Week: £100.

6 day hire = £100

7 day hire = £100

8 day hire = £120

9 day hire = £140

10 day hire = £160

11 day hire = £180

Yes. All of our prices exclude VAT.

Live Hires

Yes, if the equipment is needed urgently, we can deliver it the same day or the next day. For immediate bookings, please call us on 0330 808 8897.

If you wish to collect from the supplier’s depot, we’ll send you an order reference number and the branch’s full address.

You can immediately off-hire any equipment in the YardLink dashboard at the touch of a button.

You’ll receive an off-hire reference number, and we’ll contact you shortly afterwards to arrange the collection.

No problem! We always send a helpful reminder 1 day before the scheduled off-hire date. You can easily extend your hire within this email.

Our customers are 100% liable if the equipment is damaged, lost or stolen (fair wear and tear excepted). We recommend customers have adequate insurance to cover any damages. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more information.

You can cancel your hire free of charge by calling us with at least 24 hours notice.

If you cancel your hire with less than 24 hours notice, it will be considered a late cancellation and incur charges. We’ll refund your order for less than the one-way delivery fee and 50% of the first-day hire value.

Yes. Equipment should be cleaned before it is collected to avoid unwanted charges. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more information.

Bookings

To open a YardLink account, please call our Sales team on 0330 808 8897. They will ask you qualifying questions and then confirm the account’s setup.

If this is your first hire with YardLink, we’ll need to verify your account before delivering equipment to your job site.

We require proof of ID (e.g., driver’s license or passport) and proof of address (e.g., utility bill or bank statement). For Limited Companies, the address must match your trading address.

If you have your own insurance, we’ll also need a copy of your insurance policy.

You can upload these documents to your online account, or alternatively, you can email them to [email protected].

We’ll only ask for these documents once as long as they are valid.

You can pay securely online by debit or credit card – we accept all major cards. When you checkout, we’ll pre-authorise your payment card for the transaction amount and the security deposit.

We’ll only take payment after we match your booking with a supplier and send you an order confirmation message.

Charges are made at two-week intervals for long-term hires.

Delivery and collection prices are based on the distance between your job site and the closest supplier depot for your hired equipment. Prices start from £10 + VAT each way.

We will always match your booking to the closest available supplier to keep delivery charges as low as possible and to reduce carbon emissions.

Yes, we handle all the admin for you. Tell us what you want to hire, and we do the rest.

The supplier will deliver and collect your hire. We remain in close contact with you and the supplier to ensure everything runs smoothly. This includes pre-delivery and collection checks for every single hire.

You’ll need adequate Hired-in-Plant insurance to hire equipment through YardLink.

You can opt-in to be covered by our insurance during the hire period. This is charged at 15% of the equipment hire value.

Yes, we take a small deposit which is refunded to your payment card as soon as the supplier has collected and checked the equipment.

The amount of the deposit is based on the value of equipment on hire and ranges from £25 to £250.

If there are any additional charges incurred during your hire, such as fuel consumed or other incidentals, these will be taken out of your deposit.
